HPE Discover brings together HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack Customers and Partners
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) kicked off their annual event, HPE Discover Las Vegas 2019 at the end of June -- a perfect way to start the summer!
At HPE Discover, customers networked with professionals worldwide and learned more about the latest products and solutions from HPE. Spotlight speakers, demos, breakout sessions, and technical deep dives allowed customers to engage with subject matter experts and learned more about how HPE can help them in their business.
HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack was featured in two sessions that showcased the integrated Microsoft Azure hybrid cloud platform. Customers and partners learned more about how HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack addresses key use cases such data sovereignty, edge and disconnected applications, and consistent application development, and got an in depth technical deep dive into the hybrid cloud solution.
On the HPE Discover show floor, the HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack demo showed customers more about independent software vendor solutions, including F5, ZeroDown, and Commvault, to name a few. Customers and partners were able to ask in-depth questions with HPE experts, which provided a unique experience for everyone to network.
The demo also highlighted the announcement of new configuration options for HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solutions. The new options include support for Cisco top of rack switches, as well as Base Management Controller switch options. This update delivers more choices for Microsoft Azure Stack customers and allows users to configure a solution that meets their most stringent performance and compliance regulations.
HPE, Microsoft, ABB, and Rittal jointly announced the Secure Edge Data Center (SEDC) with HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack. This new solution is designed for customers in non-traditional data centers that need their IT in field locations such as oil rigs, factory floors, or other industrial sites. With integrated power and cooling, customers can run their HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack solution in the harshest conditions.
