HPE Enterprise Services achieves AWS Advanced Consulting Partner status

This week, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is at re:Invent, Amazon’s annual AWS global user conference, to meet with clients eager to incorporate Amazon Web Services into their hybrid cloud strategy. Today we are excited to announce HPE Enterprise Services has achieved Advanced Consulting Partner status for Amazon Web Services (AWS).

By strengthening its relationship with AWS, HPE Enterprise Services will extend the breadth of its AWS solutions, which currently include Application Transformation to Cloud, HPE Eucalyptus, and Managed Cloud Broker. Furthermore, as trusted partner clients are assured that our global team of AWS certified professionals can help them integrate AWS into their hybrid cloud strategy and deliver the following benefits:

  • Accelerate Digital Transformation– Enterprise Services’ cloud experts help clients to define, execute, and manage hybrid cloud deployments aligned to their business objectives.
  • Reduce risk – Leveraging our industry leadership in managed security services, our Enterprise Services’ team of cloud experts provide best practices for leveraging AWS security services, to protect client applications, data, and privacy.
  • Simplify procurement – Existing clients may now consolidate and purchase AWS capacity directly through Enterprise Services, rather than manage multiple accounts across their organization.
  • Lower costs – Our certified AWS professionals work closely with clients to develop strategies for optimizing their existing cloud footprint and establish policies to minimize future costs.
  • Maintain data sovereignty – For clients committed to the AWS platform, yet blocked due to stringent compliance and governance policies, Enterprise Services offers managed private cloud solutions based on Eucalyptus.
  • Hybrid Cloud Management – Managed Cloud Broker provides visibility into all IT services; across a continuum of traditional IT, private cloud, managed virtual private cloud, and public cloud services, in-house and third-party, through an integrated view.

Existing customers are already reaping the benefits of the HPE Enterprise Services and AWS partnership. In just one example, we helped the U.S. Army move the Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS) entirely to AWS. This was an amazingly fast project that resulted in significantly reducing delivery cycles, improving application quality and identifying cost reduction opportunities. I encourage you to watch this video of Bob Torche, U.S. Army G-3/5/7 and our own Bill Link describe how our Application Transformation to the Cloud service made this possoble.
