HPE Synergy 480 Gen9 is the first platform architected as a composable infrastructure. Built around fluid pools of compute powered by Intel®, storage and fabric reources, with a unified API and controlled by software-defined intellegence, HPE Synergy reduces operational complexity for traditional workloads and increases operational velocity for the new breed of applications and services.
HPE Synergy is the 2P record-holder for performance on the SPECjbb2015 benchmark. The HPE Synergy 480 Gen9 achieved four records across the three SPECjbb2015 benchmark categories, Composite, Distributed, and MultiJVM, beating Huawei, Cisco, and Oracle SPARC results. Read the full story.

The SPECjbb2015 benchmark is an enhanced Java server benchmark that supports virtualized hosts, adds stricter performance validation, and specifies faster response times for a more accurate assessment of total capacity in a variety of real-world deployments.
