How service providers can accelerate revenue with HPE SP-ready solutions

PAV.jpgBy guest blogger, Patrick Verhoeven, Director Solution Development, HPE

Customers are rapidly pivoting to hybrid IT, with workloads running both on- and off-premises in public and private clouds. That’s because they recognize the business value in selecting the right deployment model based on the unique requirements of each workload.

While HPE can support all of these deployment models, they rely 100% on service provider partners to deliver and manage any off-premises workloads and solutions. HPE has a mutual interest in helping service providers grow their revenue, profitability, and innovation.

HPE service provider strategy at a glance

HPE uses a time-tested strategy to ensure the service provider community is successful. First, HPE provides a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions—so service providers can quickly launch newP2.png services and generate revenue.  Second, HPE offers flexible business models and financial services that help service providers align their investment to their strategy, and ensure optimal use of limited capital and resources.  Finally, HPE provides a go-to-market partnership to drive collaborative selling and co-marketing once services are launched. This strategy is summarized in the illustration below.

Comprehensive portfolio for service providers

HPE delivers revenue-generating solutions through a comprehensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions. Service providers can purchase standalone, software-defined infrastructure products—such as servers, storage, or networking—to build out and launch new services. Service providers can also work with different cloud platforms or ISVs that have experience running their software on HPE infrastructure as new P3.pngservices are created.

In addition to products, HPE services can help you design and build out new capabilities, and they can be resold and white labeled, serving as an extension of your business. This enables HPE partners to provide industry-leading financial, advisory or transformation services to customers across a number of disciplines. HPE also provides use-case-optimized solutions, which combine HPE products and services with third-party ISV software to create a proven and repeatable blueprint—typically in the form of a reference architecture—that enables service providers to rapidly build and deliver revenue-generating services.
