How to Deal with Lack of Cloud Computing Resources and Expertise
The number one cloud challenge for technical professionals is the lack of cloud computing resources and expertise, per the RightScale 2016 State of the Cloud Report.
This presents a significant barrier to entry if you are a part of the C-suite or executive central IT team. It’s also costly, since every day your competitors could be ramping up their own cloud resources.
Considering these risks, it’s critical to your organization that you overcome these challenges and start taking advantage of cloud computing benefits.
Here is what we recommend for organizations facing similar trials in launching or maintaining a cloud infrastructure.
Activate Managed Cloud Services
While working in the cloud certainly delivers business agility, efficiency and responsiveness for the enterprise, it can demand considerable resources from your organization. Implementing cloud in your existing infrastructure is also a sophisticated process; it requires certain skills to properly engage and maintain the environment. Many enterprise customers find their in-house teams simply do not have the time and/or expertise to meet these demands.
Managed cloud services are an ideal solution for overcoming these challenges without compromising the infrastructure you need. It gives you a dedicated platform to lean on, so you can make better decisions for the business.
HPE Helion managed cloud services maintain your cloud infrastructure for you, so you can focus on other business priorities. Managed cloud services free up your own resources while increasing the value of your cloud investments, expediting onboarding, and optimizing cloud solutions to improve the way assets are managed.
To find out if HPE’s managed services are right for you, head over to HPE Helion’s Managed Cloud Services.
Managed Private Cloud Services
Stephen_Spector
I manage the HPE Helion social media and website teams promoting the enterprise cloud solutions at HPE for hybrid, public, and private clouds. I was previously at Dell promoting their Cloud solutions and was the open source community manager for OpenStack and Xen.org at Rackspace and Citrix Systems. While at Citrix Systems, I founded the Citrix Developer Network, developed global alliance and licensing programs, and even once added audio to the DOS ICA client with assembler.
