Meet the Team: Cloud Solutions Marketing
Behind every great product is a team of people who make it happen. This summer, Iโm pulling back the curtain to showcase some of the product teams who help make HPEโs solutions the best in the industry. To kick off this activity, Iโm shining the spotlight on the Cloud Solutions product marketing team.
Within this product group youโll find the HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack team whoโs responsible for sustaining a high level of product awareness and involvement among customers just like you. The team works closely with engineering to articulate the productโs value proposition, develop messaging and plan product announcements.
Michelle Hannula and Emmy Jordan both lead strategy and execution, and together, they collaborate with product management on the development of marketing needs throughout the product launch and lifecycle. The job can be stressful, but these two know how to handle the workload with ease.
First up is Emmy Jordan! Emmy is a Product Marketing Manager who has been with HPE since 2017 and was originally a member of the Inside Sales Organization on the Strategic Alliance team. I found it interesting to learn that Emmy joined HPE through the University of Arizonaโs Eller Professional Sales Club. This club provided students like Emmy with an opportunity to attend networking events and sales competitions designed to help students bridge the gap between undergraduate and post-grad life. HPE values how colleges and universities help mold young, incredible talent, and partners with them through clubs and internship programs. This partnership helps not only young professionals, but also companies like HPE by bringing in fresh perspectives.
Next, Iโd like to introduce Michelle Hannula, the manager of this cloud team. Before starting her journey with HPE, Michelle was a marketing leader for multiple Silicon Valley IT companies. Having been in the IT industry for some years prior to her current position, Michelle has been able to bring her expert-level marketing skills to this team. Michelle says the two core reasons she loves working at HPE are the people and the technology. โWe are transforming from a traditional hardware company into an as-a-Service company through HPE GreenLake, and Iโm excited to be a part of that! The world is shifting into an as-a-Service model, and HPE is at the forefront of making that happen,โ explains Michelle. The introduction to HPE GreenLake is an exciting time for the entire IT industry. HPE GreenLake delivers a cloud-like, pay-as-you-go consumption model for your on-premises infrastructure. This includes pre-configured hybrid cloud solutions, such as HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack. Take a look at the clip below to see what Emmy and Michelle have to say about the roles they play in bringing HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack to life.
The HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack product marketing team constantly brings in innovative programs to drive HPEโs leadership presence in the Azure Stack market. To learn more about HPE ProLiant for Microsoft Azure Stack and how it can maximize business performance, read here.
Stay tuned for more from the HPE Meet the Team series. Up next, Iโll introduce you to the HPE OneView product marketing team!
