On the road to Channel 2.0

Recognizing that Cloud computing would dramatically transform sales models, both between IT vendors and their partners and between partners and their customers, HPE created Cloud28+ three years ago in Europe. The purpose was to innovate the way partners could do business, while giving customers better access to knowledge, experts, and solutions tailored to their business needs. The outcome was a community consisting of Services Providers, System integrators, Solution Providers, Independent Software Vendors, distributors, and universities, as well as an associated digital platform that would enable HPE partners to work differently together and accelerate their ability to embrace new technologies. Since inception, trust and collaboration – beyond boundaries – have been key tenets of the Cloud28+ member community, enabling fast and sustainable progress.

Flash forward to today, Cloud28+ has expanded worldwide to become the largest Cloud aggregator on the market. Open to members and customers across all regions as of Discover London 2016, Cloud28+ now unites more than 450 partners from 51 countries capable of best advising and responding to bespoke customer requirements, while offering over 17,000 services from 290 data centers – including everything from Cloud services to integration support to ready-to-deploy apps.

 As such, Cloud28+ has become one of the first ecosystems on the market to offer customers a comprehensive approach to achieving their digital transformations, helping them tap into the right participants all along the Cloud computing value chain, no matter their location.

In a digital world where the frontiers between customers and suppliers are rapidly changing, where end users are themselves becoming suppliers of digital assets, Cloud28+ is forming a new way to unleash market opportunities and advance a universal, indirect go-to-market model that unites both partners and customers.

At Discover Las Vegas 2017, Cloud28+ members will share why they joined HPE to create something that was missing on the market, something that goes beyond a “silo” approach and reinvents the Channel.
