The need for faster delivery of apps and services is driving IT automation


HP launched Project Synergy a little over two months ago to give application developers a programmable infrastructure to automate provisioning of infrastructure based on the needs of an application or workload. Chef is one company that is taking advantage of access to an open unified API, native in HP OneView, to help customers automate provisioning of bare metal infrastructure. They are also taking advantage of the HP Datacenter Care-Infrastructure Automation Service that provides expert advice, support and tools for infrastructure automation.
