High-capacity HPE SmartMemory dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) improve memory performance up to 23%[2], providing servers with the bandwidth to host memory-demanding applications.

HPE SmartMemory offers the widest selection of types and capacities to leverage memory slots across HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers, including HPE BladeSystem. HPE iLO technology provides rapid insight into and resolutions for memory-related problems. With HPE SmartMemory, you can have up to 32 terabytes of memory[3] on a single BladeSystem, which reduces further investments for additional servers and the overall IT budgets. Debuting now, HPE is introducing DDR4 2400 MT/s SmartMemory modules for servers, with densities of 8GB through 128GB for enterprise customers and medium businesses.

SmartMemory.jpgThe HPE ProLiant BL460c and WS460c Gen9 server blades with the Intel Xeon® E5-2600 v4 chipset support the new DDR4 technology and a range of densities, up to 2TB total (on BL460c). By supporting HPE SmartMemory, HPE ProLiant Servers unlock a completely new level of maximum performance for resurce-intensive apps. With HPE SmartMemory, you can expand the memory without increasing footprint of your blade servers.
