I am managing a dual-fabric SAN with very old firmware on 7 B-Class switches, ranging from 6.2.0b to 6.3.0b.
Can they be directly ugraded to the latest version 7.2?
Can 6.2.0b and 7.2 co-exist during the upgrade process, or do I need to schedule downtime?

SolutionHi
you can upgrade only from one version to the next meaning from 6.2.0 > 6.3.X > 6.4.X > 7.0.X > 7.1.X > 7.2.X
usually the swithces of diffrent versions can coexist but best practise is to do all swithches one upgrade
and then all switches next upgrade.
by default the upgrades do not need down time but in production it is best to do off peek hours
latest version is 7.4.0
