How automatically gracefully shutdown an HP P2000 G3 SAN during a powerfailure ?

Hi,

How automatically gracefully shutdown an HP P2000 G3 SAN during a powerfailure ?

- using a specific shutdown script ? (can you post a sample code)

or using a specific direct connected inverter ( wich model support HP SAN shutdown protocol)

or it's not necessary, data corruption is not possible with HP SAN during powerfailure.

thx

Per design in case of powerloss the array controllers will write the cache contents to the built-in flash card. If power comes back, the cache will be restored and written to the disks.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
