MSA 2040 10gb & 1gb backup iscsi connection

Hi,

 

I have 4 x 10gb links setup for iscsi traffic. I have also setup 2 x 1gb links for backup.

 

I have setup Vmware to use the 10gb links and set the 1gb links as standby adapters. I have set the datastores up to use round robin, but i have noticed the 1gb links are being used which i don't want.

 

How can i setup the 1gb paths to only be used if the 10gb paths are unavailable?

Just to clarify, it's not the Vmware adapter that is being used, that is working as i want it. I can see on the home page of the SAN that the 3rd 1GB adapter is used.
