MSA20 alternative SmartArray controller PCIe version

Hi, currently we use two MSA20 units with 8 1TB disk each, connected to the servers via a smartarray 6402 card.

However we want to move the MSA20 to another server that only has PCIe slots.

What card can i use in PCIe version to present the MSA20 to this new server?

After reading a lot, there are no Smart Array 6400 PCIe cards versions.

So my other option, is to use a server (proliant or non-proliant) with PCI-X slots.

Question:

Can I use a non-HP computer with two PCI-X slots, windows 2003 server and install the two 6402 cards there and connect the MSA20s? the whole idea will be to export the MSA20 disks via iSCSI from the windows2003 computer.
