MSA2312FC firmware upgrade - problem.
Hi all!
We have MSA2312FC and we want to upgrade firmware.
I've downloaded cp021932.exe for Windows 7 x64 from this link:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3882363&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4063
but when i ran cp021932.exe on my laptop i got such error:
"The software will not be installed on this system because the required hardware is not present
in the system or the software/firmware doesn't apply to this system.
There is no applicable hardware in the system.
Press 'Close' to exit Setup."
(of course ip number of msa2312fc was written to the dialog box of running cp021932.exe and telnet service is enabled on msa2312fc)
Is there any other firmware for MSA2312FC?
Please help because I'm little confused digging through HP support website
(please take a look a the other info about our MSA2312FC - attached to this post)
Any info will be appreciated
Thanks in advance!

Re: MSA2312FC firmware upgrade - problem.
The firmware you downloaded is disk firmware only!
Maybe you don't have these disk models.
You need the array firmware!
You currently have M111R06 and you need M114P01:
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3882363&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4064
Take the windows component to update from windows or the plain FW file to update via web frontend or ftp.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: MSA2312FC firmware upgrade - problem.
Many thanks Torsten!
Upgrade already done!
By the way: take a look a the set of the available MSA2312 software for Windows 7...
- it is very confused because for the Windows 7 is only one result...
http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=3882363&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4063
So as you told me I used firmware from Windows 2008 section on my Windows 7 laptop.
