1). 1 HDD is failed then we replaced new HDD (11th)without any configuration means now it showing AVAIL
2).We mistakenly removed and reinserted another HDD(9th) at the same time ,after its showing LEFTOVER disk.
Here, 11th HDD showing no indication but 9th HDD is showing Ambler .

This would be RAID0, RAID6 is less:
(12 HDD=12 *2TB-2*2TB=20TB)
Select the AVAIL disk and configure it as global spare.
Select the LEFTOVER disk and do clear metadata. If needed, configure it also as global spare.
The spares now will kick in and the RAID will rebuild.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: hp p2000 g3 storage
If you pull a disk and insert it back, the data is invalid, hence LEFTOVER.
Now clear the metadata to make it available again:
Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: hp p2000 g3 storage
Now your RAID 6 is missing 2 drives.
Consider this as critical.
First make the AVAIL disk a spare.
The RAID will rebuild.
I recommend to wait until this disk is included again.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: hp p2000 g3 storage
Just select the menu entry manage global spares, select this AVAIL disk and submit your choice.
Time required depends on system load ... etc ... and may vary.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
