Command View licensing
I have a 4400 with standard warranty and an Unlimited CV license. When the warranty expires, will I still be entitled to the latest version of CV?
P.S. This thread has been moevd from General to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise). - Hp forum moderator

Re: Command View licensing
no, you have to be under active warranty contract if you want have CV upgrades and patches... Or buy new standalone version of CV when needed.

Re: Command View licensing
You can get CV and patch updates from HP software depot without a contract and free.
See link.
https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/index.do
You will have to keep checking the site as you will not be notified by HP about changes unless you take out a suitable maintenance contract.
