Connecting blade SAN switches to two different SANs

Hi,
we have an HP c7000 blade system with two internal Brocade 4/24 switches. Actually, they are connected to a couple of "core" switches but now I have to connect some blades to a totally different SAN.
Do I need to merge two SANs or can I "split" 4/24 switches in two indipendent "slices"?

Re: Connecting blade SAN switches to two different SANs

Yes, you can use two switches independently . Following HP documents will give you more clarity on this.

First document is about embedded san switches in C7000. That should clarify your doubt.

Second document is about HP VC FC HBAs (which will be used in the servers on this enclosure) .

Peraphs I need two pass-through SAN module, for maximum flexibility.
