Continous Access Licensing

Dear All,

We have two EVAs (6000) where we want to enable CA and we have purchased 2 CA LTUs. Now we were told to go to https://webware.hp.com/welcome.asp and generate passwords for same. We generated a single License File, giving One EVA's WWN ID. The license got generated and it says it has 2 passwords inside it. Now, my question is, is this sufficient or we could have generated 2 licenses one for each EVA giving each EVA's WWWN. Would we be able to use the license file that got generated (the one that has EVA1's WWWN ID and 2 password) to enable CA on both EVAs? If not, how can we change the licensing? Thanks.

Re: Continous Access Licensing

You will need to generate one license for each EVA's WWN encoded in it. Webware may let you regenerate another license, but I doubt it. I'll bet you're going to have to go back to HP and explain what you did and get them to reset or re-issue your LTUs.
