EVA Management

Hi.

I've installed Command View 10.3.0.1230618 in a Windows Server 2008 R2 and I can manage my HP P6000 from this server.

Now I want to uninstall Internet Explorer from this server and I want to manage HP P6000 from my PC in the same LAN, is it possible? What are the settings that I need?

Thanks

Re: EVA Management

command view needs a fibre channel connection to the array, except you run cv from a management module (EVA 4400 and 6x00 have one).

If cv is running on the server, you can access it from any other machine by browser.

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Re: EVA Management

Isn't it port 2372?

(maybe this was the old version)

EDIT:

https://server_name or IP_address:2374

Note httpS

Can you ping the server?

Does it work on the server directly?

Maybe a proxy between?

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: EVA Management

From my W7 I can browse to

https://SRV-CV:2374

Then I install the certificate and then I refresh and close the main page.

Then, when the main page reloads I only can see a message "Connecting to Discovery" and finally the certificate message is present again

Thanks
