EVA4400 Windows 2003 hpae312A path lost
platform :
EVA4400 (09006000)
Windows 2003 SP2
Mpio 3.02
Mpio mgr 4.0
Switch 4/16 6.2.0b
hpae312A - fc1242SR 1.26
driver storport 9.1.7.17

2 Vdisks presented
When the server is started , only 3 paths appears in Mpio MGR.
Sansurfer show on hba port 3 paths online and one path offline.
the offline path is not the same on each reboot.
the only way to force the path to become online is to disable and enable the port on the switch , Mpio discover the fourth path without reboot .
Can you help me ! what can i do : Downgrade the windows driver to 9.1.3.18 ????
thanks for any help.

Re: EVA4400 Windows 2003 hpae312A path lost
I had this and I resolved it by running SmartStart EVA, select start installation and by selecting install management server, the program picked up the ip driver and then a prompt appears about the hba, in my case I down graded to the suggested level and it sorted my problem. The server does require a reboot.
