I need to extend one of Logical Volume ex. vg02
for which i need to add 146 GB *2 FHDD to HP EVA SAN enclosure. Can i add the disks on-line

Solution
Yes, you can add disks online to the EVA. They will appear in "ungroupped disks" folder. You must add them to the disk group.
Then you'll have more space on the disk group to create new vdisks. Create a new vdisk and then add it to the VG.

Before extending a LUN on the EVA make sure your OS supports such action!
What OS you are running on the server?
