OVSAM Host Agents with VMware ESX

Is anybody out there using HP's OVSAM product with host agents installed on the ESX Service Console (modified Redhat Linux)? I see references out there to Insight Manager agents being used on ESX, but haven't been able to turn up anything on OVSAM HAs.

I'm new to VMware, but from what I gather, OVSAM agents could be installed on the Service Console to monitor and report events related to the hardware and on the virtual machines to report usage and the like. Is anybody out there doing this, or know if it is doable?
