Right use not connected host ports on EVA controllers.

Right use not connected host ports on EVA controllers.

We have EVA 6350, 2 controllers.

4 FC host ports are available on each controller.

We have connected only 2 ports of each controller according to the manual.

               Switch1                    Switch2

                    |                X             |

              Controller1               Controller2

 

It seems that everything works fine.

But the operational state of the controllers is dispayed as degraded.

 

Is it posible to configure the Command View to avoid displaying those warning?

No.
Consider to use loopback connectors for the open ports.

 

 

However, you don't have the availability you could have ...
