remote replica between EVA p6000 and P2000
Hi,
We want to use EVA P6300 on local site and P2000 G3 on the remote. İs it possible to any replication between EVA and P2000 for the remote replication; so we recover system from remote when the local site failed ? Which softwares do we need ? I think that EVA Continious Access software does not support P2000.

Re: remote replica between EVA p6000 and P2000
You are right. You cannot replicate data between EVA CA and MSA Remote Snap. To perform a data-block level replication you need similar storages.
If you use virtualization you may use virtualization-level replication with software like VMware SRM or Veeam B&R (works with VMware and Hyper-V both) or similar.
Those tools can give RPO about 15 minutes!

Re: remote replica between EVA p6000 and P2000
Hi ,
Yes , you can use the Storage Mirroring because it´s Operating System based solution so you can combine any storage models and also Server internal disks .
You need to check more details about using Storage Mirroring in Linux , Windows Server e Unix System.
if you want check Double-Take Software to more and more details . It´s very interesting .
