Re: vdisk presenting on 2003
You can't do that with Windows and NTFS.
*** STOP ANY EXPERIMENTS RIGHT NOW! ***
As soon as the second server has mounted the file system - corruption has occured. You might not have noticed any, but - trust me - they are there.
You can buy a true shared filesystem like HP's PolyServe solution or just use the good old way of SMB/CIFS file shares.

Re: vdisk presenting on 2003
It is up to the operating system to coordinate all IO between servers. For Windows 2003, either Microsoft clustering, HP PolyServe, or one system file sharing to another over your LAN.
The EVA is a disk block server, *NOT* a file server.
