SE 6.3 reinstall needed due to CIM extension installation on management server

We currently have an install of 6.3 and are working on setup/discovery.  The CIM extentions were installed on the management server by mistake.  My understanding is a reinstall is necessary in this case.  Can someone please let me know the procedure to reinstall with keeping my current configuration(minus the CIM extension install on the management server.

Thanks,

Re: SE 6.3 reinstall needed due to CIM extension installation on management server

CIM Extension installation is blocked on the SE Management Server... perhaps you are seeing the built-in CIM Extension, called Product Health Agent. If somehow a "normal" CIM Extension were to have been installed (bypassing the automatic blocking?) it would break the built-in product health monitoring capabilities (but not impact any other capabilities). Product Health is one of the first steps after initial installation that is typically configured, there is a link on the SE Setup Step 1 page "monitor product health", selecting this will provide an option to "add" the localhost entry to the discovery list. If any entry on SE Setup Step1 or Step3 exists with the SE CMS IP address/DNS name, you will not be able to "add", the other entry must first be deleted. Once added, you can run discovery and then a data collection (step 3 details) and the SE CMS and it's Oracle DB will be discovered and mapped, you would see status updates after ~24 hours on the Configuration > Product Health > page... and any se Domain Admin users would automaticall receive email notifications (assuming the SNMP server has been configured). based on localhost capacity (local disk) and our Oracle consumption if a low space condition exists.

If a "normal" CIM Extension is installed, you will see a service running for it, where the product health agent runs inside the appstorm service.

If a CIM Extension was installed, and you want to use Product Health Monitoring, it will require a complete uninstallation, cleanup, and re-installation of the managment server.
