Cancel SnapClone using sssu
Hi,
Does anyone know if there's a way to cancel a SnapClone that is in progress using sssu? (That is without deleting the SnapClone VDISK)
Thanks

Re: Cancel SnapClone using sssu
Not that I have ever seen. Of course, if you *could* cancel a SnapClone, you would be left with some indeterminate (read: "corrupt") thing.
What are you attempting to do? Just create a Vdisk of some particular size and vraid level? Or, depending on the versions of EVA firmware and Command View, might a container be what you desire?
Note: While I am an HPE Employee, all of my comments (whether noted or not), are my own and are not any official representation of the company

Re: Cancel SnapClone using sssu
I create a pre-allocated SnapClone by using a Container. It sometimes happens that I start the SnapClone but forget to quiesce the database, or I want to create a new SnapClone before the previous one has completed.
So at that point I would like to cancel and restart the SnapClone, but use the same VDisk/Container as before.
