EVA 8100 and the firmware is 6240

Hi there.

We have a EVA 8100 and the firmware is 6240. The operating system of the servers, where the presentations point to is SLES 10 and 11.

How can I identify the disks presented? Is there a location where I can get a unique number for example that will match on both the server and the EVA? We used EVMS on the Linux side.

Thanks

Henri

You should get "evainfo" for linux.

IIRC it is part of the SSSU donload on http://software.hp.com

Hope this helps!

Try

https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=P6000_CV10

get

CD, Command View SSSU v.10 Software (T5494-10031.iso)

and look for "evainfo-linux".

Hope this helps!
