Keep in mind that you still need to have Command View EVA running somewhere on the SAN in order to use SSSU.

Keep in mind that SSSU is just a CLI interface for the CV. You still must access to the appliance, you can't run CLI commands directly to the EVA controllers. So, considering that, maybe it won't worth deal with fine grane configuration using CLI. Just use the Web GUI unless you want to automate some tasks like snapshot or snapclones.

SSSU can be very usefull to save the configuration using the "capture configuration" command.
