Manuals?

Does anyone know where to find Polyserve documentation? I have the hardest time finding anything on the ITRC website...I am looking for the 3.6.2 SQL Adminstrator Guide. I have find alot of Polyserve manuals under the "manuals" section but nothing on 3.6.2 except for the release notes. This manual was mentioned in a another forum thread.

Re: Manuals?

The polyserve manuals are at

http://www.hp.com/go/polyserve

then select support and docs

or directly at

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManualтМй=en&cc=us&docIndexId=64179&taskId=101&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=3435148

I checked and you seem to be right that the 3.6.2 SQL admin guide is not there.

Send me a email Emil.Velez at hp.com

and If you can receive a 5 MZB enclosure I will send it to you.

HP has classes on polyserve next month a 3 day course on windows and 2 day course on Linux where you install the product, configure file serving and then create SQL isntances and virtualize them if you are interested.

Re: Manuals?

Thanks for the response - I ended up opening a case with HP. They sent me the file...it is labeled "HP Polyserve Software for Microsoft SQL Server Administration Guide"...."HP Polyserve Software for Microsoft Server 3.6". Part Number T5392-96039. On the first page it does not mention 3.6.2 anywhere, however if you read the contents it talks about SQL 2008 so I knew I had the right one.

Maybe it is on the manuals page, just labeled 3.6 like the title page, not sure.

Re: Manuals?

Creating SQL instances and virtualizing them is the same except for two additional screens regarding SQL administration and bitstream
