SSSU Scripting Utility installation

I am wanting to install the SSSU scripting utility on one or more VMS servers. I am trying to see if there is an alternative way of installing it on the VMS host without using the the proscribed CD. (cannot be located at present)

Does anyone know if this utility is downloadable from another source?.

Select your OS and download.

Re: SSSU Scripting Utility installation

Thanks Stephen,

I have download the VMS 7x version down on to my PC. Do I simply FTP that file over to the VMS host and issue the run command against it to make it presentable to VMS.

I am not too familiar with VMS. I would think that you would just need to get the file over tot he vms server and execute it.

One good question I should have asked was... what version of Command View ar you running?

You might need a different version of SSSU depending on your CV version.

Re: SSSU Scripting Utility installation

Hi again Steven,

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for... if not please instruct as to how I can obtain it.

I connected via a Remote Desktop connection and came up with the following from the Command View EVA window -

HP Command View EVA for a HSV200 v5 System

The is all connected to an EVA4000 (replicated across two sites) environment

Re: SSSU Scripting Utility installation

You may need to use the version here...

...since the first link was for the 6.x version. This link is for 5.x. I am not sure of the compatibility between sssu versions vs. Command View EVA. You can try the 6.x version, but fall back to the 5.x if it does not work.
