Using SSSU to tell which EVA Slots are used / free

Am trying to use "sssu" to query the EVA and determine which slots are used and which are free. Cannot seem to find the information required from the "show" commands. Does anyone know if this has been done before?

Share and Enjoy! Ian

PS Here is a sample of "show disk".

Found it, you have to do an "LS DISKSHELF" to get the disk shelves, then an "LS DISKSHELF [SHELFNAME]" to get the UUIDs, then a "show disk full" to get all the UIDs of the disks and their sizes etc.

Phew, talk about convuluted. Share and Enjoy! Ian

On a current version of CV-EVA/SSSU you can get the information from the "ls disk full xml" output:

3
2

On older versions (but not too old versions) it is possible to calculate the bay/shelf numbers from the AL_PA/Loop_ID. Tom o'Toole has published the formular here on ITRC.
