1 TB Hewlett-Packard backup drive using USB port

Does anyone know why my 1 TB Hewlett-Packard back of drive USB port is not working? I tried restarting the computer and it does not work or show REMOVABLE DISK L. Removable disk J and K, other flash drives are occupying it.

The cord connection is probably only one years old. Is it possible that they have gone bad? The back of drive l worked before the New Year's. Can anyone help?

Hi, not sure what product you have.. I guess it's an HP external 1TB USB drive of some sort?

 

Try it in another computer?
