AIO 1200r Storage Management Software - Discovery Failure

Hello, could someone please help with the following issue.

We currently have an AIO 1200r that is running version 1.5 of the ASM software.

When opening the management tool it produces an error that the discovery failed. Further errors are also logged to the windows event logs.

Description: ~~~ DISCOVERY: Failed
Data: Discovery Failed - Exception - Message: The storage target contains a null.......

I have read similar posts that suggested that the cause of this is that the hpkas-sandbox.bin file has become corrupted. The resolution in these posts was to stop the windows service, rename the file and then start the service again whereby it would recreate the file and resolve the issue.

I have tried this which does resolve the error message but doing so causes the ASM software to loose my user-defined application and I cannot see any way of adding this back in.

I have restored the original hpkas-sandbox.bin
file to regain my user-defined application but am still presented with the same discovery error.

Are there any other ways to resolve this issue?
Or alternatively a method where I can recreate the hpkas-sandbox.bin file as above and then add back in my existing user defined application?


Any help on this would be appreciated.

try to rename hpkas-state.xml .old and restart service

I have renamed the file and restarted the service however the issue still occurs.

Do you have any further suggestions?

expecially when logged does administrator
get full admin exchange right ?
