Connecting HP1630 via SAS HBA to DL380g7
Hi,
We have a HP1630 with a P822 raid controller and SAS HBA configuration. We are trying to connect it to a DL380g7 with a H221 HBA.
We have made some LUNS via the Windows 2012 HP StoreEasy software. The DL380g7 won't see the LUNS. What have we missed?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Best wishes
Michael

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/productbulletin.html#spectype=worldwide&type=html&docid=14434
So you connect it via network ...
"...Extensive protocol support: SMB ( 2.0, 2.1, 3.0), NFS (v2, v3, v4.1), WebDAV, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/FTPS, ISCSI..."
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Connecting HP1630 via SAS HBA to DL380g7
We assumed the SAS port was to connect to the server. Looks like will use iSCSI.
Cheers
