DL100 G2 recovery error
Hello
I have a Proliant DL100 G2 2 TB Storage Server that I am trying to reinstall from the factory recovery DVD.
When whenever I try to install the factory image, I get the following error.
An error occurred while restoring the factory image x:\tools\arcconf create 1 logical drive 1 5360 5 0 0 0 1 0 2 0 3 no prompt failed with return code 2
The server has 2 seagate drives and has an adpatec 2420SA controller
Thanks
Don

Re: DL100 G2 recovery error
Hi Don,
The restore needs all 4 disks to complete correctly. All logical disks created on the 2420 controller are RAID 5 across all 4 disks.

Re: DL100 G2 recovery error
I have a similar issue with my 1TB DL100G2. I reconfigured my OS and Data arrays and then went to run the Sys Install & Recovery from the disk. All looks well as the RAMDISK image loads, the GUI to 'retore factory image' loads but after selecting I get a "system has detected an invalide drive configuration..." after which point I can't make progress. All RAID settings (expect) the OS and Data sizes are what they were before. Thanks in advance for your help.
