Forgot Administrator password of Windows Storage server 2008 on X1600 NAS box

Hi All,

 

The subject of this message is self explanatory of my problem. Any  help ?

Hey, 

On the G2 as far as I can tell you need to specify one when you install it.

So for them I suppose you need to use a normal windows tool to reset the password.

It says in the user guide for the G2:

 

"After establishing the new Administrator password, be sure to remember it and record it in a safeplace if needed. HP has no way of accessing the system if the new password is lost"

 

I looked briefly and it looks like it's the same for the G1.

 

Did you try hpinvent?
