HP Media Vault 2010 freezing

My Media Vault freezes and needs to be restarted by pulling the plug. This happens every few days, but is unpredicable when it may happen next.

By freezing, i mean, it is not reachable on the network, and does not even respond to the on/off button.

I've already isolated the problem to be the vault and not the router or any other component.
