HP Netstorage 6000

I have created a volume on the netstorage called /data. When I mount /data to my unix box, running hpux 11, the mount has user id of 544 and group id of root which only allows for root to move or write things from the local machine to the /data mount.

Is there anyone out there that can help.
Thanks in advance

Re: HP Netstorage 6000

Use the CHMOD command to change permissions on the folder if you want to give access to others. Check this link for basic information: http://www.ctssn.com/linux/lesson6.html
Remember that by changing the permissions, others may have the ability to erase files, so be careful how you set them. Hope this helps!
