HP StorageWorks NAS 2000S & Backup Exec 9.1

I have a NAS 2000s and trying to install BE 9.1 however the NAS is running Windows 2003 Server Appliance and the install does not complete. I am assuming because it's the appliance version and missing some library files however I wanted to find out if there are any upgrades or patches or anything really that I can do to get the software to fully install. Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

I was successful performing a complete install of BE 9.1 on a 2000s. One thing to check is to modify the Remote Registry service setting the startup type from Manual to Automatic and starting the service. This is a difference between the 2000s server appliance OS and W2K3 Server OS.

If you already have a BE server and are trying to put the BE agent on the 2000s, on your BE Management Server, see the Help topic: Installing and Uninstalling the 32-bit Remote Agent to Remote Windows Computers Using the Command Line. This method works for me.
