HP Surestore dat24x6

Does the HP Surestore dat24x6 work with a compaq smart 2/p raid controller? If so, how??

No, the data 24x6 was not qualifed on any raid controllers (and the install guide say to not connect it to a RAID controller).

The recommendation is to use a dedicated SCSI HBA for the autoloader (e.g. 2940, 2940UW, 29160, etc). The 24x6 is a SE narrow device.
