HP X1000/X3000/X16000
Hi,
I'm having problems creating a file on a shared folder on our HP X1000/X3000/X1600 that is mounted on centos5. I was able to mount the shared folder/director on linux, but once I do a cd on the mount pt in linux, it says "cd:Permission denied". The other error is once I mounted the ntfs LUN/Shared Directory in linux, I was to go in to the mount pt. But I can not create a file nor do a touch command,It says, permission denied.
Hope you could help me out here. We bought 3 NAS server for our requirements.
Thanks

Re: HP X1000/X3000/X16000
Hi,
Can Linux write in NTFS these days? News to me :)
Which permissions have you set?
Isn't it possible to set permissions on the shares in the x1000/3000/1600?

Re: HP X1000/X3000/X16000
I'm not sure if NTF can be used with linux nfs. But based on the User guide it's possible using the ADLDS, but configured it right and set all the permission to allow all and allow anonynmous just to see if it's allowed to write on the shared folder, but still having permission denied both on shared disk and directory. The thing is I can mount both in my linux system
Hope you could help me out.
