Dear product specialist.
1. Can we map iSCSI LUNs from this storage through (hp h222 host bus adapter) to a Linux / VMware server and present it as a disk to OS?

Re: HPE StoreEasy 1460 32TB Storage Product
iscsi LUNs could only be mapped through iscsi HBA or NIC cards
Please review the administrator guide for configuration options:
https://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-a00048291en_us-3.pdf
Note: H222 is not a compatible HBA card for the server.

Re: HPE StoreEasy 1460 32TB Storage Product
hi Expert.
i have add HP H222 Host Bus Adapter HBA 6G SAS/SATA PCIe 3.0 1x4 Internal Ports 1x4 External Ports to HPE storeEasy 1460 and connecting it to HP DL 380 G8 (running Esxi 6.7 U2) through SAS Cable.
So, it's not support by StoreEasy 1460?

SolutionYou can use DL380 gen8 server NICs to access storeasy 1460 iscsi volumes.
Storeasy 1460 NIC details from quickspecs::
Network Port(s) 4 x 1GbE; optional FlexLOM adapter or PCIe NICs
H222 is an unsupported SAS HBA card with storeasy 1460.
There are no options to share storeasy volumes with another server through SAS HBA cards
