NAS 1200
Looking to purchase a NAS 1200 640mb to backup Exchange 2003 mailboxes using backup exec. Has anyone seen or heard of any problems using Backupexec "backup to disk" to the NAS 1200?

Re: NAS 1200
Hi Raymond,
You can do this, but the 1200s is not a very good platform to serve as a backup device. Your backup performance will be extremely slow. See forum posting: "Poor Performance Nas 1200s", posting date: 5/14/04.
I would suggest using the 2000s, but of course the cost differential is probably prohibitive.
Hope the information is useful.
