NAS 1500s/DL100 Rebuild Problem
Hi
I am in the middle of trying to rebuild a 1500s NAS server using the 5.5.1 recovery cd but am having major problems.
Using an external USB DVD drive, i can boot the recovery CD to the splash screen and upon this an error appears which states that there is an incorrect drive specification.
2 of the disks on the box have been replaced due to a hardware fault and the array on the server was lost. I have tried booting with a new array configured and also with no array configured.
Am i doing something obviously wrong or have i possibly got a faulty recovery DVD?
Help!
Thanks
