WE have a HP NAS 2000S Internal with Intel Xeon processor - 3.06GHz,2 gb ddr memory, 146 gb RAID HS hdd(4 no), 36.4 gb RAID hs hdd(2 no) os version:- Cent OS 5.3
RAID 0+1 configured with two 36.4 gb hdd and RAID 5 configured with four 146 gb hdd.
We had a peculiar problem of Hard disk failure. After working for 1 hour the led will turn red (Disk failure). But the smae disk is working in other servers.
We upgraded the firmwares hp smart array 5i+ to 2.76 and BIOS to P29. Same repeated and so we tried to change the cables, Motherboard, and finally we connected hp smart array 6400 with FW 2.84 but no improvement.
Any suggections and helps to solve this will be well appreciated.
