NAS 2000s Service release installation help

Hi Guys,

Two of our NAS 2000s are still in Service release 5.5 and we need to update them to whatever service release version that our NAS can handle ASAP.

My question is, what is the safest way for me to do this? I have read about BSOD after installation of updates especially Windows 2003 SP2. Is the installation of Service release different from Windows 2003 SP2 installation?

Anyone can guide me on this? Thanks!
