NETIQ - Ldisk errors on Windows 2000 ADV Server

I am getting these errors on my server from NETIQ. NETIQ support says to 'rebuild the performance counters" using Microsoft article 300956. Anyone else have this problem and a solution? This is happening on all local drives

a)LDisk object error (drive letter):
b)Logical Disk Counter Error
c)Counter Error (virtual)

Have you found the resolution to this? The article netiq sent me on this does not do anything.
