SCSI Fibre router (A5184A-003) error

We have a 989KS/650 test system running MPE/iX 7.5 with the system volume set and private volume set on a VA7410, accessed through a A5814A-003 SCSI Fibre router.

This morning a console session on the 989 hung.

Looked at the SCSI Fibre router; fault light on, status LED blinking status code 027 (that code isn't listed in the router manual). That error code has happened before with this router and caused hangs in the system.

Connected a PC to the serial diagnostic port of SCSI Fibre router.
Router showed:
Execution address = 2080364
Execution address = 2080364
...
Execution address = 20803b8
Execution address = 20803b8
...
(repeating groups of these error messages)

Was able to log into the diagnostic port of the router

Selected the Show LUN Map menu option
'2': Show LUN MAP

Host side default mapping table
lun target type state
0 0x0000 DISK active
1 0x0001 DISK active
...
15 0x000F DISK active

Powered off and on Fibre SCSI Router

After router power up sequence, router in the green.

Console session on 989 responsive again. DSTAT ALL shows all the drives normal.

No more "Execution address" notifications on the router diagnostic port.

Logged into router diagnostic port again.

Selected the Show LUN Map menu option again:
(results the same as before)

I'm wondering what's causing the problem with the router, and what the error code 027 means.
