Searching for SureStore AutoBackup Harddisc-Image

System: SureStore AutoBackup PC100 (C7446A)
Failure: harddisc dammaged.

After the dammage of the harddisc I search for a Image (Acronis, Ghost, DriveImage,...) or a solution to reinstall the AutoBackup PC100.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Dave,

If the HD is damaged there is only 1 option. Buy a new HDD (the image comes preinstalled).

If you have a tape backup then you can restore thatone.If you don't then all depends on if it was the primary or secondary HDD that got busted.

The company that these units or better to say the Software was OEM:ed from is/was called Previo. And if there would be an image available then nobody would have bought the Autobackup. The software is still available from www.Previo.com (bought by Altiris) at a high price... I would then however instruct you to install that software on another unit then the Autobackup (then you can use all features).

There are some company's still selling the HDD as new or refurbished. Let me get back to you with some more information (I know I have it somewhere)...

You need to get a hold of part C7444-67215 there are 2 HDD's in the unit. Worse case you need 2.
